The annual security report shows that there is a shortage of security software engineer professionals, even with increasing cyber attacks and data breaches every year. Over the years, the analysis of the job market proves that cybersecurity jobs are well-paid, projecting an interesting figure of $23K annually in the U.S. The need for more cyber workers is best explained with increasing cyber threats and cybercrime.
