The demand for cybersecurity jobs was always overwhelming. According to the CISCO, the rise in cybersecurity jobs is expected to reach 6 million, globally by 2019. The annual security report shows that there is a shortage of security software engineer professionals, even with increasing cyber attacks and data breaches every year. Over the years, the analysis of the job market proves that cybersecurity jobs are well-paid, projecting an interesting figure of $23K annually in the U.S. The need for more cyber workers is best explained with increasing cyber threats and cybercrime. Due to lack of staff expertise in the cybersecurity, the real challenge lies in finding and keeping the talent in today’s digital world.
